- MCS Trucking, Inc. was founded by Mike Slegers.

| 1995 |
- MCS started operations in Northwest Indiana. The company began with 1 Tractor and 3 used Heil pneumatic trailers hauling for Certified Concrete of East Chicago, Inc.. Certified Concrete of East Chicago, Inc. is now known as Smith Ready Mix (who we still do business with today!).
- By March 1995, MCS hired its first Owner Operator to assist with servicing Certified Concrete’s 2 plants.
- By the fall of 1995, MCS had 2 O/O’s driving in addition to Mike Slegers (President and owner) driving the MCS tractor.

- MCS had purchased its first 2 new Heil tankers & expanded to 6 O/O’s with customers in Chicago, IL, Northwest and North Central Indiana, as well as Michigan.

| 1997 |
- MCS had grown to 10 O/O’s and picked up a dedicated account going from Gary, IN to River Rouge, MI, running 7 days a week, 24 hrs a day, and delivering 3 loads per day with only 2 loads of storage. We serviced this account for the next 4 years before they put up more additional storage and changed suppliers of material.

| 1998 |
- MCS grows to 14 O/O’s and purchases 2 new Heil tankers.

| 1999 |
- MCS purchases 7 new Heil tankers and grows its O/O’s to 21. Mike Slegers transitions from driving the truck into full time salesperson and starts building an administrative office team.

| 2000 |
- May of 2000, MCS purchases the assets of Hiway Trucking’s 30 pneumatic trailers and also its customers throughout the state of Ohio. This purchase doubled MCS’s size overnight.
- Later in the year, MCS purchases the assets of STC Corporation's pneumatic division. Along with this purchase comes our first company drivers and our first highway paving project at the I-80/94 & Cline Ave. ramps.

MCS is awarded the hauling contract from CEMEX for 50,000 tons of Cement for the I-70 highway paving job in Marshall, IL to Prairie Materials, Inc.

MCS purchases 8 new Fruehauf 4100 cubic foot storage bins for this project.

2002

- MCS is the successful bidder with Ozinga Ready Mix for the I-65 hyper fix in Indianapolis, IN & I-65 from Route 30 North to 61st Ave in Northwest Indiana.

MCS relocates its office and maintenance shop to Indianapolis, IN to be more centrally located for its customer base.

MCS is successful bidder with Buzzi Unicem for the I-80/94 highway paving job from Burr Street to Broadway Street with E & B Paving, Inc.

MCS purchases 14 new Freighliners and 10 used Kenworths for additional business picked up from Irving Materials, Inc.
- MCS purchases 50 used International tractors and 50 used pneumatic trailers. This brings the company drivers up to 55 and O/O’s to 25. MCS's trailer count now totals 130.
